Anchored is a native macOS menu-bar app that keeps a single anchor task and its timer permanently in view - in the menu bar as a ring that fills as the time runs, and on a desktop widget you can act on - so the day's priority does not have to be re-decided every hour.

Anchored keeps the single task that matters today front and center - and runs a quiet focus timer beside it, right from the menu bar. No infinite to-do list, no nag windows, no account. It's keyboard-first, but everything works just as well with the mouse.

How it works
- Pick the one task that matters today and give it a length like "45m" - then line up whatever comes next behind it.
- The menu bar shows it with a ring that fills as the time runs, and the popover tells you when the whole day will be done.
- When the time is up, take a few more minutes or mark it Done - and at the end of the day, wrap up and move the rest to tomorrow.
Buying and licensing
Yes. Download the app and it runs in full for 30 days - no key, no card, no email. Nothing is held back during the trial.
No. You pay once and the license is yours for good, on up to 3 Macs. There is no renewal and no in-app purchase. The studio also sells an optional subscription that includes this app, if you would rather have every app instead.
Buy from the store and the key arrives by email right after checkout. Paste it into the app once and it stays activated.
The app locks until you enter a key. Nothing is deleted - your data stays on your Mac and comes straight back the moment you activate.
